James "ginger pele" Collins
Rightly given MOTM today, what an immense performance.

No nonsense defender and had Benteke in his pocket all game.

Take a bow son.

I though NOBLE was a contender for MOM.

Another vote for Noble. Though apparently he was messing about giving things away in his own half just before the magnificent cross for the second,

Picked by a sponsor. They could easily be as thick as you, Fordy.

Mixed bag of contenders for WHU mom today. We thought Noble had a good shout and one BBC reporter nominated Antonio. Goes to show how well the team played.

For me the entire team deserved it. To pick an individual is just wanky and a bit gay.

It's gay to pick one person as Man of the Match?

Fucking immense yet again.
Love these type of players..dying breed

Re: James "ginger pele" Collins
Noble as usual made a few bad decisions and gave the ball away a few times but his cross was superb.

Anyway, had to be Collins MOTM though Antonio ran him a close second. If Lanzini or Payet had played the whole match they might have won it and Andy Carroll was excellent, Cresswell had a blinder. Basically they were all good!

Always plays well against a target man, gets caught out by runners....excellent today

BBC gave it to Antonio.

It's almost as if it's really subjective and not a statistical thing, and that Fordy isn't an idiot.

Re: James "ginger pele" Collins
Based on recent form he has to be our first choice CB. I reckon he is particularly keen at the moment because he wants to make sure he gets in the Welsh side for the Euros.

An awesome, no nonsense, ginger Jaap Stam wall of warrior-like epic-nous.

Huge.

Not true. A couple of years back at Anfield he had Suarez wrapped up like a christmas present.

I like Collins. So pleased he's signed a new contract with us. He's played incredible the games he's aged for us.

If he's with us next.next season, it's great news. If we sell him in the summer them it gives the like of Burke and/or Oxford room to step up.

What a wonderful position to be in.

Re: James "ginger pele" Collins
Immense throughout the Christmas period both home and away

Cress has been injured, Tomkins has been played out of position, Ogbonna made a bad error of judgement at Villa & Jenks has been up and down like a 70`s bus clippy

But Ginge has been our one solid. World class defending at the highest level
